Mirko Filipović, Benson Henderson, Dong Hun Kim and Yoshihiro Akiyama are the main stars of the press conference which was held on Tuesday in Seoul on the occasion of the historic arrival of the UFC in South Korea scheduled for November 28th. Cro Cop landed on monday in the Korean capital, together with his coach Stipe Drviš where he was welcomed like a king, and the same treatment was continued today when he stood in front of numerous members of the seventh force.
In addition to Filipović, the most interest is aroused "domestic" UFC member and former lightweight champion Benson Henderson, who will lead the whole UFC Fight Night 79 with Thiago Alves. The event is scheduled for the Olympic Gymnastics Arena that holds about 15 thousand spectators. Already now it is believed according to the local media that the impressive building should be filled to capacity. Korea is traditional martial country and there's the huge interest in the arrival of the UFC.
UFC fighters are photographed together with the most famous ring girl Arianny Celeste in front of a bus, which is painted with their characters, and then was followed by the aforementioned press conference. Cro Cop would be a part of the "media" going to Korea to be held an open training session for public.
"I am aware that I have a lot of fans in Korea. I am happy because I have come to represent a professional martial sport", said Cro Cop in the interview, and also convey the Korean media.
